Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
Ephesians 1:4

The current adverse circumstance you may be experiencing is not the real you.  Just like your bank account balance, physical appearance, job title, or social status is not the real you!  The real you predates what you may currently be experiencing and has its origins in eternity!  You are eternally loved, forgiven, accepted, and complete in Christ!  You always have been, are now, and will always be complete!  It does not matter how challenging things may currently appear to be in the sense/natural realm you are complete now!  While we are not oblivious to the sickness, financial lack, broken relationship, or illness that may appear in the sense realm, we do not derive our identity or value from these things.  Our identity is derived in Christ and we are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).  Don’t focus on the current challenge you may be facing, but your eternal identity in Christ!  Essentially, “Look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18)!
