Your Future is Much Better Than Your Past

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.  Proverbs 4:18

Throughout the course of your life, God desires for your tomorrows to be better than your past.  In fact, He wants your future successes to be greater than any past success that you may have experienced.  The Bible records in Haggai 2:9 that “the glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former.”  Life should get better the longer we live so we should not dread growing older!  As a Believer, that stands in Christ’s righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21), your path is bright according to today’s Scripture in Proverbs 4:18 which also means your future is bright!  Since God lights your path, you do not need to worry about taking the wrong course of action when faced with a decision.  In fact, Psalm 37:23 states, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.”  Not only does God direct your paths, but He is delighted with the choices that you make!  Rejoice in the fact that your path will get brighter and brighter!
