To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Too often in life, we beat ourselves up over relationships of all types that end. Perhaps a dating relationship unexpectedly ends sooner than we would like or an unforeseen misunderstanding erupts in a friendship and it is ended from out of nowhere! While it is easy for us to analyze what occurred from every angle and blame ourselves for our actions that we believe may have caused the breakup, we must ALWAYS remember that if God wanted a relationship to persist it would have gone on. The Bible itself even states that, "a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity" (Proverbs 17:17 NIV). The real friends and people that God has placed in your life to be there forever will ALWAYS be there! If someone has left your life it is not your fault. It simply means that they have served their God-given purpose in your life. God has better relationships and friendships that you will encounter in the future because He is The Master of opening new doors and taking us from glory to glory (Revelation 3:7 & 2 Corinthians 3:18)! Don't beat yourself up over people that have served their God-given purpose and left your life, regardless of your age, your best days and relationships are ahead of you!
