what do you need?

The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  Revelations 13:8

 The very fact that you have a need, is an indication that God has provided for it if you are a Believer of Jesus Christ!  God NEVER allows a need without having made the provision for it ahead of time.  Consider today's verse of Scripture, it states the Jesus was "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Revelations 13:8).  Long before mankind's NEED for salvation after the fall of Adam, the Lord had provided the sin offering from the foundation of the world in the person of Jesus Christ!  Similarly, when God told Abraham in Genesis 22 to sacrifice his only son Isaac, God had already provided a ram (Genesis 22:13) in place of the sacrifice of Abraham's son!  Abraham then called the place "Jehovah-Jireh" which means "the Lord will provide."  Not only WILL the Lord provide for your need but He HAS provided for it!  God knows and declares the "end from the beginning" (Isaiah 46:10).  Pastor Gregory Dickow has remarked that the Holy Spirit does not lead by foresight but by insight and hindsight!  God knows in advance what you will need and has already provided for you!  Your need does not catch Him by surprise which is the reason He has made the provision for it.  God is limitless and never runs out of the ability to provide for us!  He holds the oceans in His hand and has measured the heavens with His fingers (Isaiah 40:12).  Pray for your need but then also thank God for it and ask Him to help you trust that He has provided for it!
