The Power of standing alone

My grace is sufficient for you, My strength is made perfect in weakness.  2 Corinthians 12:9

At some point in life, there will be times when we feel like we are standing utterly and totally alone!  Some people refer to these experiences as dry places or being in the wilderness.  While we walk in the strength of Christ at all times, today’s Scripture reminds us that God’s strength is made “PERFECT” in us during these times!  Too often in life, people are afraid to go against the grain and walk alone so to speak because they forget that they are joined with the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:17).  We never have as much support as when we have the support of God alone!  If we truly understood the eternal realm, we would not be discouraged but encouraged during these times because 2 Corinthians 12:10 goes on to state, “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.”  Additionally, regardless of how things appear in the visible realm, we have everything we need already (1 Corinthians 3:21).  Let us remember that God’s grace is sufficient for every situation and encourage others of this reality as well!
