Stay Connected to the Source

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  John 15:5

The key to success in the Christian life is to stay connected to the Source.  God is the source of our strength, good health, prosperity, and wholeness in every area of life.  This idea of staying connected to the source is so simple but one often neglected or overlooked.  We stay connected to God by reading His Word, praying, and simply fellowshipping with Him.  Distractions seek to get us disconnected from the Source.  The Bible states that "the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful" (Mark 4:19).  Distractions come to derail us from reading/hearing the Word of God and consequently spending time with Him.  If we are disconnected from the Source, we can not flourish and prosper.  Look to God to help you stay connected to the Source regardless of what occurs!
