Seeing Yourself as Royalty

And God said, let us make man in our image, and after our likeness: and let them have dominion. Genesis 1:26

Dominion is something the human heart desires.  Having health, good relationships, a sound mind, and prosperity is something we all desire.  God has given us dominion over everything!  In Genesis 1:26, God said that man was to have dominion.  What does dominion mean?  The word dominion in the original Hebrew is the word "radah" which means to "reign."  God has given us authority over every situation and circumstance (Luke 10:19).  This  authority is utilized by speaking the Word of God out of our mouths and using it as the sword (Ephesians 6:17) that it is to cut up adverse situations and circumstances.  Authority must be exercised so that we can sit/rest and reign as royalty.  Kings are able to sit comfortably and reign once everything has been subdued under them.  Once we take authority over situations, we will begin to operate in dominion and reign in the manner God originally intended. Go out today exercising authority over situations and reigning as the king God made you to be!
