Limited Human Reasoning

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Human understanding is limited.  Reasoning is limited to a finite human mind but God is infinite.  As such, we have to tap into the wisdom of God when we are faced with making decisions concerning our lives.  John 16:13 notes that for Born Again Believers, the Holy Spirit “will guide you into all truth.”  Through the Spirit of God, you do not just have access to a few truths but to all truth!  We must endeavor to seek God in prayer and His word to tap into these truths.  Don’t limit God concerning a temptation or trial because you cannot think of a way out of it in your limited human mind.  Remember that 1 Corinthians 10:13 states that with every temptation God will “also make a way to escape.”  God has already prepared a way of deliverance or escape from your situation but you must tap into the Spirit of God to receive it.  Don’t concede that a situation is hopeless simply because you have not figured a way out of it or “it does not look like there is a way out.”  God has solutions that you have not even considered yet!  Remember that God is infinite, and through His Spirit He will lead you into all truth and victory!
