Just Go For It!

Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? Mark 4:40

Fear, anxiety, and worry, we have all experienced these emotions at some point in our life.  Throughout this week though, we will be talking about not yielding to these emotions because fear is not of God.  Second Timothy notes that "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).  God does not want fear to control us because it limits what He can do in our lives.  It has been said that the phrase "fear not" appears 365 times in the Bible or once for each day of the year!  Fear not or do not fear is not a suggestion but a commandment!  Meditating on fearful thoughts often causes us to become paralyzed in terms of pursuing our goals, dreams, and aspirations.  Don't limit God by fearing but just go for it!
