It's Ok to Start Small

For who hath despised the day of small things?  Zechariah 4:10

Everyone wants to start big but that is not the way the Kingdom of God works.  In fact, Jesus said that he who is “faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things” (Matthew 25:23).  The more you are faithful over the things God has entrusted you with, the more you will increase.  Don’t despise where you are right now though.  Although you may not have a spouse, the house, or job position that you want, starting small allows you to trust God every step of the way and consequently spend quality time with Him.  The more time you spend with Him, the more you will learn of His love, faithfulness, integrity, and commitment to you and the more you will fall in love with Him.  The Bible says, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalm 37:4).  As you spend quality time with God while you’re waiting on the promises of God to manifest, before you realize it, that promise will manifest in no time.
