god uses broken vessels

God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. 
1 Corinthians 1:27

Do you feel like you are disqualified from being used by God?  Perhaps you feel like you have made too many unforgivable mistakes, that you don't have the right credentials, or that you simply don't measure up.  God uses the most unlikely people in ministry, business, sports, and many other areas.  Moses killed a man but God used him to deliver the Israelites from Egyptian bondage (Exodus 2:12 & Exodus 12:31).  David had a man murdered but God still allowed the Messiah to come through his lineage and eternally established His Kingdom (2 Sam 11:15, Matthew 1:1 & Luke 1:33).  Paul persecuted many Believers before his conversion to Christianity and yet God used him to write most of the New Testament of the Bible (Acts 9:1).  God uses broken vessels because He has never used anyone that was perfect except for Jesus!  We are forgiven due to our belief in Christ (Acts 10:43).  We don't need the right credentials because God has qualified us through the blood of Jesus and His death on our behalf on the cross is what allows us to measure up (Romans 5:1).  Regardless of what you have done know that God is not done with you and desires to use you mightily!  He still desires to give you a good future and hope (Jer 29:11 NLT).
