God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began 2 Timothy 1:9 (NKJV)
Before time was created and we were even born, before the earth was fashioned or the stars were hung in their sockets, before the infinite expanse of the universe was set, from eternities past, God had constructed a plan and purpose for each one of our lives. You may have heard this before, but it is important to let this point sink deep into your spirit. The Holy Bible in 2 Timothy 1:9 declares, that "God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began" (NKJV)...our purpose existed before time began. Our individual purpose is so important that it was fashioned before the physical attributes of the earth and universe were ever formed! If God thought enough of us to fashion our purpose before time even began or the earth was formed, surely He is concerned with every intimate detail our our lives and He desires to be with us to help us fulfill our purpose and everything He desires for us to be and to give us.
