Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2
Are there things in your life that you are believing God to bring to pass but are frustrated because they don’t seem to be coming to pass? Don’t focus so much on where you are right now (or the process) but go back to the beginning. What did God initially promise you and what hope did you initially have? God always finishes what He starts. Consider God’s creation of man, He created man to lavish His love upon and enjoy unbroken fellowship with Him. Although this plan seemed to be frustrated after Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:17 and Genesis 3:6), God always finishes what He initially starts. Consequently, through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, God was able to restore fellowship with man that had been broken as a result of Adam’s fall in the Garden of Eden and lavish His love on man as well. God always finishes what He starts because He has declared the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). The Bible declares that Jesus was “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8) meaning that from the beginning of time God had declared this end. Don’t focus on negative situations and circumstances but go back to God’s initial promises and remember that He has declared your healing, deliverance, prosperity, emotional stability, and victory in every area of your life from the beginning!
