Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2
Do you remember having dreams in your heart as a child? As time wore on, perhaps the inevitable difficulties and challenges of life caused you to give up on the dreams that were once in your heart. When things get hard in your life and you are tempted to give up on the dreams that God has placed in your heart, go back to the beginning. Don’t focus on the current trial or fear of the future, focus on the dreams that we were once in your heart. Allow God to revitalize those dreams. Second Timothy 1:6 says to “stir up the gift of God which is in thee.” In other words, stir up the desire to move in the direction of the dreams that God placed in your heart years ago. In Ezekiel 37:4, God admonished Ezekiel to “prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, o ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.” Speak to the dreams (or dry bones) that you have allowed to die in your life. Command them to “hear the word of the Lord” that everything that God has promised you and placed in your heart will come to pass!
