Forget About It
This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. Philippians 3:13
Notice that today’s Scripture says this ONE thing I do. This suggests that that one thing should be a primary objective in the life of every person. That one thing we must do is to forget things that have not worked out in the past. This even applies to sickness or poverty. The key to receiving healing or abundance after a lengthy timeframe of sickness or poverty is forgetting about how long you have had that sickness and poverty. The power of God to heal you or supply your needs is not limited by how long you have been in that situation but by our unbelief which is often rooted in the length of time that we have been in an adverse situation. Do not dwell on how long you have been sick or broke but focus on God and His healing power! The Bible states to “magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together” (Psalms 34:3). Forget about how long you have been sick or in lack, magnify the Lord, and exalt His name because “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow” (Philippians 2:10). Remember today that every sickness and bit of lack has to bow at the name of the Lord! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
