Favor will find you

So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 
Proverbs 3:4

When you have Jesus in your life then you have everything you need!  You don't have to try to find favor.  In fact, the Bible is clear that when you have God in your life then "blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee" (Deuteronomy 28:2).  It is popular today in many Christian circles to talk about obtaining the favor of God or many of the varied promises of God.  Favor will help you to get the many promises of God.  However, having Jesus in your life and seeking Him first will bring you the favor of God.  We are "satisfied with the favor, and full with the blessing of the Lord (Deuteronomy 33:23).  Seek Jesus first out of a pure heart and then you will have God's favor and His blessing!
