Faith Flows From the Heart

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.  
Romans 8:1

We need faith to receive the promises and favor of God upon our lives.  Faith is simply a decision to trust God and to believe that His favor will cause you to be victorious in every situation.  A condemned heart filled with accusations will stop faith from freely flowing in your life though.  These accusations may come from other people, circumstances, the enemy, or even yourself.  It is important to remember that your righteousness as a Born Again Believer is not contingent upon your performance.  Since Jesus died in your place on the cross and took your sin, you have forever received His righteousness.  The Bible says that “in righteousness shalt thou be established” (Isaiah 54:14).  Don’t allow condemnation or accusations to short circuit your faith and the favor of God from flowing in your life.  Remember to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23).  As a result, God’s favor and faith are sure to flow like a flood and manifest the promises of God in your life!
