You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness. Psalm 65:11 (NASB)
On the last day of this year, we should expect the goodness of God! Most of us have probably experienced challenges and trying circumstances throughout the course of the year, but that does not limit what God can do now/today! God can still cause us to have a wonderful end to this year and go into the New Year with a fresh start! In today’s Scripture in Psalm 65:11, notice that it says that God crowns the year. The crown is a precious metal of high value that is the last thing placed on the head of royalty. The crown is an outward manifestation of what the King or Queen is inherently. The Bible is clear that as Believers, God considers us royalty (Revelation 5:10 and 1 Peter 2:9). Even on the last day of this year, expect what you are inherently (royalty) to be manifested as God crowns (or ends) your year with an outward manifestation in your life of His goodness. God crowning the end of our year with goodness will flow into a gracious and blessed start for the New Year!
