Don't  feel  condemned!

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.  Romans 8:1

It is important to realize that God never condemns us!  In the Garden of Eden, God told Adam that he could freely eat of any tree of the garden except for the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16-17).  Essentially, Adam was not to get caught up in trying to decide what was "good" or "evil" or "right" or "wrong."  He was simply to be led by the Lord and could eat freely from the tree of life (Genesis 2:9, 16-17).

The reason we often experience condemnation in our lives is because we are constantly judging our behavior as "right" or "wrong."  From the time we are children, we are told what is right and wrong.  We are also rewarded as children and into adulthood based on making the right choices and our subsequent accomplishments.  We must remember however, that Jesus did not only live for us, but as us.  He lived a perfect life on our behalf!

We are eternally established in the Lord's righteousness (Isaiah 54:14).  We are also encouraged to seek first the Kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and everything we need will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).  Our righteousness is not predicated on our behavior but God's very own righteousness!  Once we realize that we have been given His righteousness and operate in it, everything we need will be added unto us.  Don't beat yourself up over mistakes you believe you have made!  You are eternally established in God's righteousness!
