And they gathered it (the manna) every morning. Exodus 16:21
Sometimes, God does not give us all the solutions and answers we seek because He wants us to walk with Him and depend on Him every single day. Sometimes we want all the answers to a problem so that it is eliminated and we can go on with our lives but God wants us to walk with Him each and every day in the good times and the bad times. In the book of Exodus, the manna that God rained down on the Children of Israel each day was bread. God did not give them more or less than they needed but just enough bread to sustain them for that day (Exodus 16). The Word of God is often referred to as bread (Matthew 4:4). Today, you may not have all the answers for your situation, but God will give you the sustenance and strength that you need for this day. Living in the present and depending on the Lord's strength and guidance each day is often a concept that is foreign to us because we are riddled with regrets from yesterday and worries about tomorrow. When we don't have all the answers, focus on the One who does and thank Him for the direction and guidance that He is faithful to bring each and every day!
