Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. Exodus 3:9-10
Although the Children of Israel did not realize it, God was arranging for their deliverance behind the scenes while they were still in slavery. God saw their oppression and heard their cry. In fact, Psalms states, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book” (56:8 NLT). God is so mindful of what concerns us that He keeps track of every one of our tears! Imagine the millions of tears He had counted when He arranged for the deliverance of the Hebrews by Moses out of Egypt. God was arranging for their deliverance long before they ever saw it. Similarly, God is working behind the scenes in your “Egypt” situation to bring you forth victoriously. That is the reason that “we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). We serve a loving God and He is arranging people and circumstances behind the scene to deliver you!
