Attitude is Everything

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.  Psalm 3:3

Attitude really is everything.  How do you respond when faced with challenges?  Do you remain kind, gentle, and loving or do you begin to become critical and complain?  If we keep the right attitude in the midst of trials, God will turn our stumbling blocks into stepping stones.  The Bible takes it a step further and says to “count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2).  We are to remain joyful in the midst of trying circumstances.  Many people who maintained the right attitude throughout the Bible were delivered from
trying circumstances including Joseph from slavery, Daniel from the lion’s den, and the 3 Hebrew boys out of the fiery furnace. Maintaining a right attitude and a pleasant physical disposition is a sign of our trust and faith in God.  God is able to deliver us when we maintain the right attitude because a right attitude is our expression of our faith in Him and “this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4).  Maintain a good attitude and watch God turn trials into triumphs!
