Always the Same

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.  Hebrews 13:8

God never changes!  God is who He is regardless of what we think or how we may feel.  God is good (Psalms 73:1), He is merciful (Psalms 116:5), He always wants us to receive healing (Matthew 12:15), and He always wants to share with us all the good things He possesses (Luke 12:32).  What changes is our perception of Him.  That is why it is so important for us to study God’s Word, attend church services, pray, and fellowship with Him.  We do not do these things to impress God or to score points with Him, but they are for our benefit.  The more we do these things, the more our perception of God shifts and we see Him for who He really is and can receive His best.  Know that God’s unconditional love for you never changes and receive His best today!
