All Things New

Behold, I make all things new.  Revelations 21:5

No matter how bad you may have missed it or what you have done, God can give you a fresh new start today.  God specializes in making things new.  Jesus himself stated that “God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that world through him might be saved” (John 3:17).  Notice that God did not focus on the world’s sin or shortcomings, but on granting it a new start through salvation.  God did not even focus on man’s original sin committed by Adam in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:6-7).  Throughout the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Jesus never mentioned Adam’s original sin.  Instead he focused on the new start that God wanted to give man through salvation, the Holy Spirit, and a relationship with Him (John 3:16, John 14:26 & John 10:28).  Don’t focus on past mistakes but on the fresh start God longs for you to receive!
