And this was yet a small thing in thy sight. 2 Samuel 7:19
As David reflected on all God had done in terms of taking him from tending sheep and giving him a great kingdom to reign over as king, he commented, “and this was yet a small thing in thy sight” (2 Samuel 7:19). Our attitude today should be the same as David’s was over 2000 years ago. Often we elevate problems we face to a position that they should never occupy. Since WE don’t see a way out of the problem, we don’t exercise our faith for God to turn it around. Although we may be facing what seems to be an impossibility in our life, nothing is too hard for God (Jeremiah 32:17). Nothing catches God by surprise and He knew you would have that problem long before it had ever existed. He also had prepared a solution for it long before it ever existed. Don’t even allow your mind to think that your problem is too big for God but start thinking and meditating that what you’re facing is a small problem for God to fix. Instead of panicking and worrying about the seemingly impossible situation in your life, declare that delivering you out of it is a small thing for God!
