A Limited Vision

1/14/2013

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.  Ephesians 3:20

We’ve all experienced what we have believed God for not coming to pass in our lives.  When this happens, it can be confusing, frustrating, and even disappointing.  Why does this occur?  Sometimes it is not the result of sin in our life.  A vision that is too small is one reason why the thing you have believed God for might not have come to pass.  Perhaps you have been believing God for a boyfriend or girlfriend and He wants to give you a husband or wife, you may have been believing God to be a manager and He wants to make you the company CEO, or perhaps you have been believing God to simply pay your bills but He wants to give you enough money to not only pay your bills, but someone else’s as well.  God is unlimited and there is nothing too hard for Him (Genesis 18:14).  Even if you do dream a big dream, He is able to even exceed that dream according to Ephesians 3:20.  Psalms 78:41 actually states that people can limit God.  How do we limit Him?  We limit Him by not believing that He can do what we desire or by not having a big enough vision.  Dare to embrace an enormous vision and watch God bring it to pass in your life!
