The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Psalm 37:23
God knew us before we were conceived in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5). Not only was He aware of our identity, but He also knew every "mistake" we would ever make. Sometimes we feel like perhaps if we had gone to a certain college and completed a particular major for example, we would not be experiencing the current adversity that we are confronted with. Maybe you feel like if you had not gotten divorced, had an abortion, or quit a job that things would be different in your life. Those "mistakes" are in the past though and your past is covered by the blood of Jesus if you are a Believer. Sometimes though, we are faced with current choices and are afraid of making a mistake. Should I take this job or that job or should I buy that house or rent this apartment. These choices can often seem difficult and leave us up worrying countless nights and drain our mental energy. Don't be afraid of making a wrong choice though. There are no wrong choices when you are a Believer because God causes all things to work for your good (Romans 8:28). God knows your heart and will meet you where you are and can arrange events/circumstances to navigate you to where you need to be! Remember that God causes all things to work for your good and that there is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ anyway (Romans 8:1)!
