While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
Why stress out over circumstances especially when they are subject to change? Just as quickly as you “feel” sick, you can feel well. Just as quickly as a bank account is depleted, it can be replenished. Today’s Scripture tells us not to look at the things which are seen. We are to look at the things which are not seen that last forever. We are to look at the unseen God. Throughout the Bible, God is compared to a rock. A rock evokes the image of something that is solid and is not easily changed. God does not change. If He says that we can be healed, then healing is always ours (Exodus 15:26) or if He says all our needs will be supplied (Philippians 4:19) then we can take hold of that and always have all of our needs met! He does not change. Malachi 3:6 even states that He is the Lord and He changes not. The Bible states that “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). Although we cannot see God, He still deserves our worship. As we worship Him and keep our eyes on the unseen, our circumstances are sure to turn around because all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). If God flung the stars and earth in the sky which hang suspended by nothing, surely He can turn your situation around in an instant. Have faith that your situation will turnaround in a moment because circumstances are always subject to change!
