The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Psalms 37:23
As we honor our nation's veterans on today, serving in the U.S. military is often viewed by many as a good decision. However, many people are riddled with regret over past decisions they have made or grappling with anxiety over making the right decision concerning a current situation. As Christians, we must remember that our steps are ordered by the Lord (Psalms 37:23). Technically, there are things we always could have done better but there is no such thing as a wrong decision per say because the Lord is working everything out for our good when we are Believers (Romans 8:28). Remember that God already knew the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) so nothing catches Him by surprise anyway. For example, God knew that Adam would partake of the fruit that He expressly forbade Adam not to partake of (Genesis 2:17) which is the reason Revelation 13:8 says that Christ "was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Don't allow Satan to convince you to have regret over past decisions or make you believe that you may make the wrong decision in the situation you are currently faced with. As a Believer, your steps are ordered by the Lord and you stand forever in His righteousness (Isaiah 54:14).
