Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, it is the Lord. John 21:7
God loves you! The fact that God loves you must go from mere information to revelation. Jesus loved all of His disciples/followers because He even said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). God loves each of His followers today as well. In fact, God loves the whole world. The famous verse of Scripture in John 3:16 is clear that “for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Apostle John had a revelation of God’s love for Him. It was John who wrote in His Gospel account the “disciple whom Jesus loved” (John 21:7). Although Jesus loved all of His disciples, John had a revelation of that love! John’s deep-rooted belief in God’s love for him allowed the Lord to share with John only the revelation from God also known as the Book of Revelation in the Bible. Know that God loves you deeply today and ask Him for a stronger revelation of that love!
