For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. Isaiah 55:8
Whenever we are faced with seemingly insurmountable problems or temptations, we do not have the proper perspective in terms of our situation(s). We must go higher to get God’s perspective. We must remember that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26) when things seem insurmountable or impossible. Going up higher allows us to tap into His perspective and wisdom. Imagine being stuck in a traffic jam for example, as long as you remain on the ground you only see cars that are gridlocked. If you go up higher however and get an aerial perspective, you would undoubtedly see numerous “escape routes” that you could not see while you were on the ground. First Corinthians 10:13 states that with every temptation God will also “make a way to escape.” Focus on God and get His perspective about the problem that you have been confronted with. Through His Spirit and in His wisdom He is sure to provide a solution that you have not even considered!
