We live in a world currently riddled with fear! There is the threat of terrorism, sickness (such as ebola), and uncertainty on every side. One thing that is certain though is God's love for us and His protection! God has promised that He will never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Consequently, we have God's protection. Not only do we have the presence of God though, but He has also given His angels charge over us to keep us in all of our ways (Psalms 91:11). So we have the Lord and His angels working on our behalf to protect us. During "uncertain" times, we must not focus on the uncertainties but be confident in the certain and sure promises of God. Those certain promises include His love, protection, and grace towards us. Let us remember this week to "cast not away" our confidence "which hath great recompence of reward" (Hebrews 10:35).
